The Brighton City Museum, in partnership with the Brighton Japanese American Association (BJAA), will host the second annual Japanese Culture Fest on Saturday, Sept. 27, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the south lawn of Historic City Hall (22 S. 4th Avenue). This free, public event welcomes all and will feature Japanese crafts, a bake sale, authentic ramen by Ninja Ramen food truck, and cultural entertainment and presentations. The celebration will once again feature the Denver Buddhist Temple Minyo Dancers and Taiko Drums, among other demonstrations. There will also be Japanese-themed craft vendors with items available for purchase.
Parking will be in the Historic City Hall parking lot, and the Museum will be open. Included on display will be the early-1900s silk kimono recently acquired by the museum.
