The Planning Commission advises the Mayor, City Council, and other city departments on broad planning goals, policies, and plans for the physical development of the city. The Planning Commission meets on an as-needed basis every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. Agendas are generally available the Monday prior to the meeting. If there is no agenda posted then there is no meeting scheduled.

The Commission’s work is framed by the Comprehensive Plan and the Land Use and Development Code, along with a commitment to engage citizens in the planning process to ensure the city’s goals are reached. Meetings are open to the public. Agendas and approved minutes are available by clicking the link.
