US 85 Access Control Plan

In December 1999 the City of Brighton along with 15 other governmental agencies entered into a Intergovernmetal Agreement with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) by approving the U.S. 85 Access Control Plan for State Highway 85 from I-76 to Weld County Road 80.

The CDOT approved corridor study was completed in 1992 to assess the long-term needs of the corridor and develop a plan of improvments to ensure that the highway will continue to provide the level of transporation service needed by the area. This plan is currently in place and may be viewed by clicking the areas of interest.
