• Building codes (sheet 1) and design criteria (sheet 2)
• Adopted 2023 Edition of the National Electric Code

Review Times 

• Single Family Unit Tract: 12 business days
• Decks, Basements, Patios: 12 business days
• Factory-Built ADU: 10 business days
• Custom SFU: 18 business days
• Master Plans SFU: 24 business days 
  • Bulk product submittal can cause delay
• Master Plan Re-Stamps associated with code update: As staff time allows
• Commercial TI: 15 business days 
  • We do not have a second track or expedited permitting process
• Minor Commercial Remodel: 12 business days
• New Ground-Up Commercial: 24 business days
• Specialty builds of large size or great complexity: Determined by the CBO
• Resubmittals and minor change orders: 7 business days
  • Resubmittals may take up to 12 business days for complex commercial projects
• Over the counter and solar permits: rapid review 

Hours of Construction Activities

• 6 a.m. to p.m., regardless of location.
• As stated in Section 8-32-50 of Municipal Code under Community Noise Control.

COs

• Responses to CO checklist submittals will be processed within 48 hours.
