The City of Brighton is gearing up to host another year of its popular outdoor “Flix and Kicks” concert and movie series this summer. Event times and locations vary. See the 2024 lineup below. 

Flix Movie Series (all begin at dusk): 

• Thursday, June 13: “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” at Brighton Park 

• Includes a cardboard race car building activity, sponsored by E-470 Public Highway Authority 

• Thursday, June 27: “The Lego Movie” at Brighton Park 

• Includes a Mega Bloks building activity, sponsored by United Power 

• Thursday, July 11: “Barbie” movie at Carmichael Park 

• Includes a Barbie photo booth and glow sticks, sponsored by Allo Fiber 

• Thursday, July 25: “Jungle Cruise” movie at Carmichael Park 

• Includes inflatable pirate ship and walk the plank activity, sponsored by Metro Water Recovery 

Kicks Concert Series (all begin at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted*): 

• Thursday, June 6: Message in a Bottle (Police tribute band) at Founders Plaza 

• Thursday, June 20: West Highway 7 (Country) at Founders Plaza 

• Thursday, July 4: Soul School (Funk/Soul/Dance) at Carmichael Park 

• *Thursday, July 18: Titonic (Funk/Rock/Dance) at 6 p.m. at Carmichael Park 

Admission is free, but seating is first come, first served. We encourage attendees to bring blankets, lawn chairs, picnics, bug spray and other amenities. Please note: All events are subject to cancellation at any time.
