[ARCHIVED] Economic Development Corporation announces 2025 Brighton Business Award Winners

The 2025 Business Appreciation and Awards event was hosted by the Brighton Economic Development Corporation on Thursday, Jan. 15 at The Armory Performing Arts Center. The event brought together local leaders, entrepreneurs, and community champions for a special day dedicated to recognizing the innovation, resilience, and impact of the Brighton business community. With 25 outstanding nominees across multiple categories, this year’s awards showcased the remarkable talent and dedication driving our local economy forward.

After enthusiastic community participation and careful consideration, we are proud to announce the 2025 Brighton Business Award Winners:

Accelerating Business Award

Winner: Signarama Brighton Signarama stood out for its impressive growth trajectory, commitment to quality, and continued investment in the local business ecosystem.

Next Big Thing Award

Winner: United Power United Power earned this honor for its forward-thinking initiatives and bold approach to shaping the future of energy and infrastructure in our region.

People’s Choice Award

Winner: 7AM Somewhere Voted on by the community, 7AM Somewhere captured hearts with its creativity, customer experience, and strong local support.

Project of the Year Award

Winner: Power Equipment Company Power Equipment Company earned this recognition for its standout project work, demonstrating excellence in execution, community value, and long-term impact.

Start-Up Business of the Year

Winner: Wolf and Honey Wolf and Honey exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit, bringing fresh ideas, passion, and early success to the local marketplace.

Economic Development Partnership Award

Winner: Julie Ramsey, Business Development Specialist (Brighton EDC) This year’s Partnership Award carries special significance. For the first time in EDC history, a member of our own team was selected by the community for this honor! Julie’s dedication to building meaningful relationships, supporting small businesses, and strengthening the local economy has made a lasting impact. Her recognition is a testament to her tireless work and the trust she has earned across the business community.
