The City of Brighton will host its annual Art in the Park festival on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Carmichael Park (650 E. Southern Street). This one-day festival gives attendees the opportunity to meet with local, regional, and international artists showcasing their work; enjoy live music, dancers, and other performances; watch artist demonstrations; and provides entertainment for children with interactive art activities. In addition, food will be available for purchase through food trucks in attendance. The festival is free to the public.

- Dancer’s Edge, 10:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
- Polka Folka Band, 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
- Stage Images Dance Studio, 12:15 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.
- Ricardo Pena Band, 12:45 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.
- Skankin’ Nation Band, 2:15 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
