Bridge Street Widening Update: June 14

- Traffic realignments will continue on Bridge Street from 22nd Avenue to 40th Avenue through the end of next week. Crews will be performing storm sewer work, curb and gutter and sidewalk installations from 22nd Avenue to Telluride Street on the north side of the roadway. Starting the following week, crews will begin shifting operations to the south side of Bridge Street with new lane configurations. One through-lane of traffic will continue to remain open with these shifts. Please follow all cones and project signage when navigating the construction zone.  

- For drivers traveling westbound on Bridge Street, there will be no left turns onto 27th Avenue. Drivers are encouraged to continue west to make a lefthand turn at 22nd Avenue.

- Speed limit reductions are in place within the project zone. Additional traffic enforcement will be patrolling the construction zone to ensure the safety of the project team and traveling public.

- Trucks and heavy equipment will continue to enter and exit the roadway within the project zone, so drivers are encouraged to slow down, watch for workers and equipment, and leave plenty of space in between vehicles. Please be mindful and exercise extreme caution when traveling through construction areas.
