Vertical construction is now underway. Scaffolds have begun to be installed, and the new build is progressing above ground level.
Inside the building, partitions have been installed to separate areas undergoing demolition, HVAC upgrades and the installation of the new second-floor cycling studio.
Looking ahead, the Brighton Recreation Center will undergo a full facility closure from May 17 to June 2, 2025. This closure will accommodate the installation of a new rooftop unit and the upgrade of the facility’s fire alarm system, two critical projects that are essential to the overall expansion.
