Electric Vehicles

In order to meet the transportation and air quality goals outlined in the Brighton 2024 Sustainability Plan, we are committed to improving our electric vehicle (EV) readiness throughout the community. Driving electric helps preserve the natural beauty of our community, and ensures we are taking part in a state-wide effort to build out our charging station infrastructure and harness technologies to make it easier for residents to participate. This page provides resources and opportunities for community engagement to keep residents informed.

Vision Statement: Brighton is committed to reducing our emissions and improving air quality through electric vehicle adoption and investments in electric vehicle charging station infrastructure. We strive to develop an approach to electric vehicle readiness that is sustainable, cost effective, innovative, and works for everyone.
