2. The City of Brighton is asking community members to join them at Erger’s Pond for a morning of nature, science and exploration. Join our Open Space and the Butterfly Pavilion team by participating in the BioBlitz on Sunday, Sept. 14, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Ken Mitchell Open Space, 889 Kinglet Court.

   Additionally, on Sunday, Sept. 21, from 9 a.m. to noon, the Butterfly Pavilion will be back to work on the Pollinator Garden at Bromley Farms, located at 1594 E. Bromley Lane. Gardeners of all experience levels will assist in planting new native plants, adding mulch, and removing any invasive weeds.
