  • Yes. We will issue household credits for all canceled programs. If you would like a different accommodation or a refund, please email sports@brightonco.gov

  • A volunteer coach who is assigned to the team will contact you at the contact information you provide. It is important that your phone number and email are up to date in our system. If you have not heard from a coach a week prior to your first game please reach us at 303-655-2200

  • The vast majority of our programs are coached by volunteers. A majority of our coaches are also parents of participants. These volunteers are prepared and trained by the Brighton Youth Sports Department.

  • You can begin by emailing sports@brightonco.gov, stopping by Brighton Recreation Center, or indicating on your child’s registration that you would like to coach. We are always looking for great coaches!

  • Absolutely! All of our volunteers are thoroughly screened for the safety of our participants. As an extra safety measure we also have all of our coaches complete a concussion training.

  • Yes, we do accept requests and are able to accommodate many of these requests. However, these requests are NOT GUARANTEED.

  • CARA Track & Field, CARA Tennis, Youth Tennis Lessons and Challenger and Skyhawks camps are staffed by paid/professional instructors.
