Director of Information Technology appointed

David Guo

City of Brighton City Manager Philip Rodriguez is pleased to announce the appointment of David Guo to serve as Director of Information Technology. As Director, Guo will oversee technology infrastructure and security, business services, and location services. 

 

Prior to joining the City of Brighton, Guo served as IT Manager for Enterprise Applications for the Governor’s Office of Information Technology. Prior to that, Guo served as Lead Enterprise Systems Administrator for the City of Arvada, IT Business Application Analyst for Whiting Petroleum Corporation, Senior Software Release Specialist for P2 Energy Solutions and Application & System Administrator for CenturyLink. 


Guo received his bachelor’s degree in international affairs from the University of Colorado Boulder and his master’s degree in information technology management from Regis University.
