Brighton Police have arrested 22-year-old Andrew Michael White, of Fort Lupton, in connection with two local robberies.
The first robbery took place at Check Into Cash, 2404 E. Bridge St., at about 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17th; the second robbery occurred at the Public Service Credit Union, 195 S. Kuner Rd., at about 9:30 a.m. on Monday, September 23rd.
Police had been looking for White and his accomplice when an alert employee from a local bank called at about 6:30 p.m. on September 25th to report seeing a Jeep on Bromley Lane which matched the description given to local banks by Brighton officers; the employee kept sight of the vehicle as it drove westbound along Bromley, until officers were able to pull the vehicle over in the parking lot of Wal-Mart, 60 W. Bromley Lane.
After confirming White’s identity, police took him into custody without incident. Brighton detectives have identified White’s accomplice, who they are still attempting to locate, but are withholding his name because of his age. White and his accomplice may face charges of Aggravated Robbery, Theft, and Theft by Receiving.
Police request that anyone who witnessed either robbery or has additional information about either case contact Detective Michael Payne at (303) 655-2367.
