Come transport back to the Brighton of yesteryear during Elmwood Cemetery’s 10th annual historic Cemetery Walk from Noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, at 14800 Old Brighton Road. This event gives guests a unique peek into the lives of noteworthy figures from Brighton’s past.
Volunteer guides will be dressed in period attire as they reenact the lives of Brighton's historical leaders, farmers, pioneers, and soldiers buried in the cemetery. This year’s walk will also add two exciting new features: a scavenger hunt for historical figures and headstone impression making.
The event is free to the public. Maps will be available to help direct visitors through the self-guided tour.
