Every December, the City of Brighton joins Wreaths Across America in honoring fallen military members by placing a wreath on the graves of veterans at Elmwood and Fairview cemeteries. Starting Saturday, December 17, 2022 through Sunday, January 15, 2023, sponsoring a wreath will be matched by Wreaths Across America for Wreaths Across Day 2023.
Sponsorships start at $15 per wreath and are customizable to the number of wreaths you'd like to sponsor. To sponsor a wreath(s), click here (City of Brighton fundraising code CO0149). The deadline for matched sponsorships is Jan. 15, 2023 for Wreaths Across America Day 2023.
Volunteers will be helping to lay the wreaths on Saturday, December 17, 2022. If you are interested in participating in this volunteer opportunity, please contact our cemetery office.
