Colorado United States Specialty Sport Association (USSSA) hosted an adult softball slow pitch tournament this past Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Brighton Sport Complex that included a very successful toy drive. Thanks to the recent turf conversion, the Brighton Sports Department is now capable of hosting tournaments year-round and providing opportunities for events like the 2022 USSSA Toy Drive Tournament.

The toys were donated to the City’s Brighton Employee Charities Committee (BEC). City staff will wrap and prepare the toys for the community. BEC exists to enhance the lives of children and families in the Brighton community by providing resources to make a positive impact throughout the year.
