In honor of Earth Day and Arbor Day, the City of Brighton will be hosting a series of events starting on April 20 to promote environmental protection and sustainability and the planting and preservation of trees. The community is invited to participate in the mix of virtual and in-person activities.
Tuesday, April 20: Arbor Day Proclamation and Arbor Day Poster Contest Recognition at 6 p.m. City Council meeting. Zoom link to join will be made available at brightonco.gov/agendacenter on April 16.
Thursday, April 22: Sapling and seeds giveaway at City Hall (500 S. 4th Ave.) starting at 7:30 a.m. Brighton residents only. First-come, first-serve (while supplies last.) Details here.
