As the City of Brighton works to amend the rules and processes for mobile food vendors, vendors and business owners are encouraged to attend the City’s two upcoming Zoom seminars in which City staff will be presenting information on mobile food vendors operating within City limits and getting public feedback through a Q&A. The seminars will take place on Tuesday, April 6 at 2 p.m. (3 p.m. in Spanish) for mobile vendors and on Thursday, April 8 at 9 a.m. for business owners.
The City aims to create an easier permitting process for mobile food vendors and get input on the time period of permits, while also understanding the concerns business owners may have with potential changes to the mobile vending code.
“We hope that through these seminars, our staff can help to clear any confusion on the permitting process, get input on what changes mobile vendors would like to see, and also hear the concerns coming from business owners in the community,” said Shannon McDowell, Long Range Planner with the City of Brighton.
Zoom details are below. Seminars are divided by topic, but all members of the public are welcome to attend.
