Feathered Friends: Harris’s Hawk   (Tues. Dec 29 @ 1:00 p.m.)

Join Anne Price from the Raptor Education Foundation for a great program on the Harris’s hawk, an inhabitant of the desert southwest.  They are one of the few social raptors in the world - living in small groups like a pride of lions or pack of wolves.  Intelligent and with a diet ranging from scorpions to jackrabbits, these interesting hawks are at home in the prickly deserts of Arizona, Texas and New Mexico.  Our raptor guest will be a charismatic “senior” male, named Harris.  Click on the link below to register in advance for this meeting.  You will receive a confirmation email containing the Zoom meeting link.
