To meet the demand of growing turnouts for testing, the City of Brighton has changed its mobile COVID-19 rapid testing site to Riverdale Regional Park located at 9755 Henderson Road, effective Tuesday, Nov. 2. Testing days and times remain the same on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. (until Saturday, Nov. 21).
The change in location from Eagle View Adult Center to Riverdale Regional Park is in response to the large turnout numbers of individuals wanting to get tested. The park provides for better traffic flow as well as better space for those awaiting test results.
To get tested at the new mobile testing site, individuals must enter through the entrance of the park’s main entrance off Henderson Road. Follow signs to enter the mobile queue for the antigen nasal swab. Test results will be ready shortly after. Individuals will have to wait for results on-site; results will not be emailed. Face coverings will be required when interacting with on-site staff. No restrooms will be available for public use.
Individuals who live or work in Brighton are eligible for the free testing. Documentation will be required (i.e. an ID card, utility bill, etc. for residents and a paycheck stub, work badge, etc. for employees).
The cost of the mobile testing site is covered by federal CARES Act funding that has been allocated to the City of Brighton for COVID-19 relief.
