Starting on Tuesday, Sept. 15, the City of Brighton will offer no cost, drive-up COVID-19 rapid testing to residents who reside within a Brighton zip code and/or employees of a Brighton business who are currently working within the City of Brighton. The mobile testing site will be located in the Eagle View Adult Center (1150 Prairie Center Parkway) parking lot and will be open for testing on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. through Nov. 21. Documentation will be required (i.e. an ID card, utility bill, etc. for residents and a paycheck stub, work badge, etc. for employees).
Individuals who’d like to get tested for COVID-19 are asked to drive into the Center’s parking lot through the main entrance and remain in their car as they go through the drive-thru until the point of testing. Individuals will at this point roll down their window for testing staff to conduct an antigen nasal swab. Test results will be ready shortly after - Persons will be asked to drive to a designated parking area to wait. Staff will then return to share results verbally. All persons are asked to wear a face covering through this process. Please note: No restrooms will be available to the public and face coverings are required while interacting with staff.
The cost of the mobile testing site is covered by federal CARES Act funding that has been allocated to the City of Brighton for COVID-19 relief.
