The City of Brighton encourages residents to apply for the new COVID-19 Testing Assistance Grant. Funding for the grant comes from the federal CARES Act and provides assistance to Brighton residents in paying for COVID-19 viral and antibody tests.
To qualify for the COVID-19 Testing Assistance Grant, you must meet the following criteria:
Be a current resident of the City of Brighton
Be able to prove lawful presence in the United States
Be able to submit a receipt for a COVID-19 test administered on or after March 1, 2020
May only submit costs remaining after any insurance deductions have been applied. If you are uninsured, you will be asked to verify this when submitting the full receipt.
These are federal funds passed through via the CARES Act and subject to Federal reporting and eligibility requirements. Grants cannot be used for family members residing outside the City of Brighton. The deadline to submit an application is September 25, 2020.
