Public invited to view artwork at ARTfest through the end of September


The City of Brighton is excited to announce its community art show ARTfest will be held through Sept. 30 at the Armory Performing Arts Center located at 300 Strong Street. The event is free to the public and open for viewing Tuesdays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays from 2 to 6 p.m. 

ARTfest includes 53 pieces of artwork from 18 local and regional artists: Kary Mayes, Dottie Urban, Marilyn Fingerlin, Kathy Hansen, Edward Hansen, Lea Williams, Jamie Zerr-Lockwood, Glenda Shealey, Gail Marchetti, Daniel Crawford, John Vedrode, Margaret Zylla, Judith Dickinson, Chris Heiser, Sandie Mackenzie, Bob Gallegos, Jim Bietendorf, and Robert Gonzales.

In addition to the in-person viewing, there will be a video presentation soon available.
