The City of Brighton received 73 applications for the City Manager position recently advertised. On April 21, City Council voted to hire executive recruiting firm Colin Baenziger & Associates to conduct the nationwide search. Colin Baenziger & Associates submitted all the candidates to City Council for their review, including the results of reference checks, background information, and internet/newspaper archive checks. City Council plans on selecting the final candidates during the July 7 City Council meeting.
