[ARCHIVED] Parks and Recreation merges long-range planning meetings into single public forum

rec center news flash

The City of Brighton’s Parks and Recreation Department has merged its upcoming long-range planning meetings into a single citywide public forum set for July 8. The meeting will take place virtually through Zoom (details below) from 5:30 - 7 p.m. The City encourages residents, business owners, special interest groups, and any other interested parties to give their input at this forum to help plan the future goals and objectives of parks and recreation in the City.

The Department made the decision due to unprecedented circumstances presented by COVID-19. This means the original hybrid in-person and virtual meetings for each ward set for June 24 and 25 and July 8 and 9 have been cancelled.

Parks and Recreations is also seeking public feedback through an online survey and will release those details once they become available.
