City of Brighton splash pads Footprint Park (4515 Mt. Sneffles St.) and Emi Chikuma Plaza (1750 Skeel St.) will be open to the public starting June 9 at 9 a.m. Based on guidance from the Colorado Department of Health and Public Environment (CDPHE), the maximum capacity allowed per splash pad will be 25 participants. The City will have temporary signage posted reminding visitors of COVID-19-related health and safety precautions. Individuals of different households are encouraged to practice social distancing.

The opening follows new guidance on June 4 from the CDPHE regarding recreational activities. Over the weekend, City crews quickly worked to get the splash pads prepared for public use.
