As of 8:30 p.m. on April 28, 2020, the unofficial Ward 2 Special Election results are as follows:
- Ann Taddeo - 331
- Michael A. Boutwell - 87
- Donald D.R. Dill - 273
- T’Nell Page - 199
Due to no candidate receiving over 50 percent of the votes, City Council will hold a Special meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday to approve the ballot content for a run-off election between the two candidates with the most votes.
On Dec. 17, 2019, Ward 2 Council Member Greg Mills was sworn in as Mayor, creating a vacancy in Ward 2. The elected candidate will fill the vacated seat of the unexpired term ending January 2022.
