In support of the Governor’s announcement on Wednesday declaring a state of emergency in response to COVID-19 (coronavirus) and out of precaution to keep our residents and visitors safe, the City of Brighton Recreation Center (555 N. 11th Ave.), Eagle View Adult Center (1150 Prairie Center Parkway) and the Armory Performing Arts Center (300 Strong St.) will be closing to the public effective Friday, March 13 - Sunday, March 22. The City will reassess as the week progresses and determine if prolonged closures are necessary.

“Due to the growing number of COVID-19 cases being reported in our state each day and two confirmed cases in Adams County, we believe it is in the best interest of our residents and visitors to temporarily close our highly-trafficked facilities to limit the potential of exposure,” Acting City Manager Marv Falconburg said.
