At about 1:30 p.m. this afternoon, Brighton police received a report of a person with a gun at Prairie View High School, 12909 E. 120th Ave. According to callers, a male party had displayed a handgun in a parking lot at the school, but left as police arrived. 

Police contacted the suspect vehicle at 119th Avenue and Peoria Street almost immediately, and took two male parties into custody. 

There is no threat to students, and police are clearing the campus from lockdown per protocol at this time.
