The City of Brighton’s Eye for Art program has announced its selections for the “Colors of Love” art exhibit at Brighton City Hall, 500 S. 4th Ave. The exhibit opened Monday, Sept. 9 and includes more than 235 exciting pieces of art from 83 local and regional artists. This exhibit is free to the public and open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The “Colors of Love” art exhibit features exquisite artwork that has been created in vibrant oils, acrylics, inks, watercolors, graphite/color pencil, elegant photography, feather art, fused glass, bronze sculpture, mixed media and jewelry that brings brilliant colors to life.
The artwork is available for purchase and is ready to enhance your home or business with the beautiful colors to love in original artwork. Videos and catalogs are available online at www.brightoncoarts.org/261/Current-Show-Information.
The public is also invited to meet the artists on display at the artist reception on Friday, Sept. 13 from 6-9 p.m. In addition, artists with their sculptures on display at Carmichael Park will be recognized at 7 p.m. at City Hall. The “Colors of Love” art show at City Hall will also be one of the three stops the pARTy Bus will make on Friday, Sept. 13. From 6-9 p.m. a bus will continuously circle the route from the Armory, to City Hall's Eye for Art, to Main Street Creatives. Attendees can park at any of the three locations and get on or off at any time.
