Council approves ballot content for Nov. 5 coordinated election

Last night, Brighton City Council approved ballot content for the coordinated election on Nov. 5. The mail ballot election is conducted by the Adams County Clerk and Recorder and the Weld County Clerk and Recorder.

The ballot content includes the recall question for Mayor Ken Kreutzer and the election of one candidate from each of the city’s four wards. The council candidates include:

Ward 2

  • Mary Ellen Pollack

Ward 3

  • Kris Jordinelli
  • Debra Parmley

Ward 4

  • Vadim B. Epelbaum
  • Christopher Schoeneck
  • Adam Cushing
  • Danny V. Sandoval
  • Archie Demarest

Candidate affidavit and committee registration forms may be found on the city’s website at https://www.brightonco.gov/1394/2019-Election-Information

Colorado voter registration forms can be obtained at the City Clerk's office or by visiting the Colorado State website. You must be 18 years of age, a United States citizen and a resident of Colorado for 22 days prior to the election. Registration forms must be submitted to the appropriate County Clerk office. The address and phone number for each county office are listed on the back of the registration form.
