Volunteers needed to help conduct youth interviews

Summer Job Launch

The City of Brighton recently announced it will be providing a summer job launch preparedness day in February. In order to make the event successful, the Office of Youth Services is looking for volunteers who can assist with conducting the interviews.

Volunteers are needed on Saturday, Feb 9 from 12:15 – 2:05 p.m. to assist young people ages 14-21 with mock interviews. All interview questions and materials will be provided to volunteers and the city will provide lunch.

Any businesses, organizations and people who have experience conducting job interviews are encouraged to contact City of Brighton Youth Services Office Administrative Assistant Abby Martinez at 303-655-2186 or by no later than January 25, 2019.

The city’s summer internship and job launch will be on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at City Hall, 500 S. 4th Ave. This event is designed to help young people wanting to find a summer job get prepared to enter the workforce.
