Brighton looking for artists for Sculpture-On-Loan Program

The Farmer

The City of Brighton Eye for Art program is looking for artists to participate in its Sculpture-On-Loan Program. This yearlong sculpture exhibit is held at Brighton’s Carmichael Park, 650 Southern Street.

The Sculpture Walk at Carmichael Park is part of the city’s Eye for Art Sculpture-on-Loan Program. Artists are invited to display their outdoor sculptures in this 12-month exhibit. Sculpture with visible presence as well as durability for Colorado weather is sought for this outdoor venue.

Five sculptures will be selected, each will receive a $500 honorarium at placement and the selected artists will also be competing for up to $1,000 for winning the People’s Choice Award. In addition to the monetary rewards, artists have the possibility of selling their work to the public and/or city.

The deadline to submit your work to be considered for this art show is January 15, 2019.
