Brighton's "Somewhere In Time" art exhibit opens Monday

The City of Brighton’s Eye for Art program is excited to announce its selections for the “Somewhere in Time” art exhibit at Brighton City Hall, 500 South 4th Ave. The exhibit opens Monday, Sept. 10 and runs until Jan. 4, 2019. It includes over 250 awe inspiring artistry in this fall/winter show. The exhibit includes 78 local and regional artists on display.

The “Somewhere in Time” art exhibit features unique artwork that renews memories through artistic eyes. Created in vivid oils, acrylics, inks, watercolors, graphite/color pencil, vibrant photography, feather art, fused glass, bronze sculpture, mixed media and jewelry. Artwork is available for purchase and are ready to enhance your home or business with a splash of the color of fall and crisp flavors or winter in original artwork. This exhibit is free and open to the public weekdays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., excluding holidays.

There will also be a public Artist Reception held on Friday, Sept. 21 from 6-9 p.m. where the community is invited to come meet the artists. Please RSVP to Laurie Lozano-Maier at 303-655-2034 if you would like to attend.
