Kids to Park Day

Spend Kids to Park Day with us at Brighton Park! On May 20, we will have activities for kids, food trucks and a dj playing music from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy a picnic, skip a rock or go fishing at Brighton Park. Take on our challenge of 100 things kids should do before they turn 12. Mayor Gregory Mills will be in attendance at 11 am! Join him for the Move with the ?Mayor™ walk around the park. Schedule:

11 AM: Move with the Mayor™ walk around the park 

12:30 PM: Cheer Stars Cheer performances 

1:30 PM: Family friendly workout with Rec Center Fitness department   

Enjoy many more activities throughout the entire event:

  • fly a kite 
  • jump in a bounce house 
  • get temporary tattoos
  • partake in a sidewalk chalk mural
  • participate in a scavenger hunt

Food from Tacos el Caudillo del Sur will be available for purchase and Kona ice will have its first 100 cones for free.
