The City of Brighton is exploring the prospect of a citywide contract for trash and recycling pickup services that meet the needs of our community.  Single-hauler collection systems simplify waste management by using one vendor that provides all the services residents may want to all single-family, duplex, and small multi-family properties in Brighton. Many communities in Colorado and across the country have found that this type of system reduces the number of trucks in residential neighborhoods, makes prices more consistent, and increases opportunities for recycling.

The city will host four informational meetings this Spring to provide information on how this system could benefit the Brighton community, answer questions, and gather feedback from residents. 

• April 5, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.:  Brighton Recreation Center, 555 N. 11th Ave. 
• April 19, 9 - 11 a.m.: Eagle View Adult Center, 1150 Prairie Center Parkway
• May 3, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.: Brighton City Hall, 500 S. 4th Ave. 
• May 24, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Padilla Elementary School, 5505 Longs Peak St.
