The City of Brighton’s Parks and Recreation Department will
host the 34th Annual Turkey Trot at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Brighton
Recreation Center, 555 N. 11th Ave.
The 5K run/walk is a Bolder Boulder qualifying race and
features various age divisions with awards given to first, second and third
place male and female finishers in each age division.
Registration is available in-person at the Brighton
Recreation Center through 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, or
online by noon Friday, Nov. 16, at www.brightonco.gov/turkeytrot. Race day registration will be between 7-8 a.m. The early bird registration fee is
$30/adults (18-59) or $20/youth (17 and under) and seniors (60+). The race day
fee is $33/adults (18-59) or $25/youth (17 and under) and seniors (60+).
The fee includes a great long sleeve Tec T-shirt, post-race
breakfast, prizes, drawings and much more.
Packet pickup will be Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 13, and 14,
5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Brighton Recreation Center or on race day. Please, no dogs allowed.
