The City of Brighton will host an EcoEvent from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at City Hall, 500 South 4th Ave. Residents are advised to enter from the south side off Jessup Street.
EcoEvent: E-Waste Recycling & Paper Shredding

The event is a great opportunity to recycle computers, laptops, printers, keyboards and cables, LCD/CRT/LED monitors, and cell phones. Also, computer accessories, copiers, digital cameras, and game consoles can be recycled. NO LARGE APPLIANCES PLEASE.
Recycling these electronics is free, but a fee of $25 is applied to recycle CRT and TV sets up to 32 inches. CRT monitors and TV sets 35-50 inches will cost $35. Cash and checks will be accepted, no credit cards please.
Paper shredding will also be available. Each person is allowed to bring up to three copy boxes or one large trash bag of paper to shred. Please no x-rays, large binder clips or 3-ring binders. Shredding may be witnessed by customers to insure shredding is completed.
