Kirby Wallin was elected to the City Council in November of 2011 and served as Mayor Pro Tem from 2014-2016. Wallin attended the University of Cincinnati in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. After college, Wallin put his passion for technology to work for a systems integrator. In this role, he traveled extensively across the U.S and Canada gaining valuable experience in dealing with the diversity of people he met.
Wallin met his wife Cyndi in Philadelphia but the two soon decided their future lay elsewhere. They opened up a map and dreamed of their perfect home, Colorado! Soon after their move, Wallin launched his own computer consulting business which he continues to run from his Brighton office. Wallin has worked with businesses from the corner store to top Fortune 500 organizations, helping them embrace their technological opportunities. He and Cyndi have two children and their family is an energetic supporter of the 27J school district. Wallin has served on boards and commissions including Adams County Economic Development, Brighton Parks and Recreation, Colorado Municipal League, and is especially proud of the work he has done with the Brighton Youth Commission.
