 Parents & Coaches

 Welcome Aboard!

Pee-Wee Soccer would like to thank you for your support. We would not be able to continue without the support of the parents and volunteers! Please consider volunteering to coach your son or daughter’s team. Listed below are the philosophies and details of the program.

Pee-Wee soccer is designed for children 4 & 5 years old. The score of the game will not be counted, nor is the coach to acknowledge the losing team. Good sportsmanship is to be emphasized. In the eyes of the City of Brighton all participants in Pee-Wee soccer are winners. It is our philosophy that any coaches portraying poor sportsmanship or negative behavior will be redirected by the Recreation Coordinator.

**Remember this is not a competitive league, it is designed to develop sportsmanship and skills.

A parent from each team will be needed to be the Head Coach of the Team.

Saturdays, game times will start at 9 am and conclude in the early afternoon.

All practices will be at Brighton Park 30 minutes before the scheduled game time.

Rain Dates:
Rainout games will not be rescheduled by the recreation center but may be rescheduled as a "friendly", or scrimmage by the teams’ coaches.

Other Information:
Coaches meeting will be held at the Brighton Recreation Center, approximately one week before their first games. Schedules and rosters will be distributed at the meeting.

All games will be played at Brighton Park in front of the Brighton Recreation Center. Up to 6 children are generally placed on each roster. Please ask parents for an assistant coach and a team parent before the first game. Team parents are welcome to bring oranges and drinks.

Please call the Brighton Recreation Center for more information.
