Make a Difference
Are you looking for a fun way to get involved, or get your group involved, in your local community? If so, our Adopt-a-Park and Adopt-a-Trail programs might be for you.
Adopt-a-Park / Adopt-a-Trail
Our Adopt-a-Park and Adopt-a-Trail programs allow an individual, family, or group to help preserve and maintain our parks and trails. You can adopt an entire park or a portion of a park, or a trail. Your efforts help to keep parks and trails clean for all to enjoy. In return, we'll post a sign recognizing your efforts. All we ask is a one-year commitment. For mroe inforamtion, view Adopt-a-Park (PDF) and Adopt-a-Trail (PDF)
Process
Whether you are an army of one or 100, we have ample opportunities for you and your organization to contribute to the well being and enhancement of our park and trail system. The Adopt-a-Park and Adopt-a-Trail program allows small businesses, community groups and civic-minded individuals to dedicate their time, talents and treasures to the maintenance and development of City of Brighton's park system.
The program is flexible to suit your and your organization's capacity to contribute. From regularly scheduled clean ups to graffiti / vandalism repair or removal to planting trees and other landscape enhancements, there is truly something or some place for everyone to pitch in and help.
