The City of Brighton Animal Control and Animal Shelter operate between the hours of:
8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday.
If there is an emergency regardless of time please contact 911.
If there is an non-emergency animal issue outside of these hours please contact:

Brighton's Animal Control Officers are responsible for overseeing compliance with applicable city ordinances. This includes performing a variety of duties involved in the investigation of potential violations and the enforcement of animal codes, ordinances and regulations related to animal control while supporting the city of Brighton's mission and values.
We are here to help you with all of your domestic pet-related questions and are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership.
Lost and Found:
We maintain a lost and found list of canine and feline animals reported to us. Please contact Animal Control at 303-655-2091 with any questions.
Need a doghouse? The Brighton Animal Shelter has access to some doghouses. Please contact the Animal Shelter for more information.
