Members are selected at large and based on their strong interest in cultural arts. They bring a vast knowledge and experience in various areas of arts and culture.

The Brighton Cultural Arts Commission (BCAC) serves in an advisory capacity to the city council.

The BCAC has been designated as a Scientific and Cultural Facilities (SCFD) qualifying organization. Funding from SCFD has provided exciting programs, activities, and long-term art. We gratefully acknowledge funding support from the SCFD for the ongoing support. The programs receiving funding in 2017 is Sights and Sounds. This program includes funding for the 2017 Brighton Concert Series (contact Amy Porter 303-655-2126) and Arts Awareness programs
