Utility Billing Process
Residents and businesses in Brighton are billed for utility services via four different routes. Utility bills are always due on Thursdays, with specific dates varying depending on your billing route. You can locate your billing route at the top and/or bottom of your billing statement. See below for your 2018 bill due dates per route.

Fees are charged to an account based on the following billing collection process.
|Day 1||Bills are sent out.|
|Day 28||Bills are due.|
|Day 33||Late fee of $25 added to account for non-payment.|
|Day 39||Courtesy letter sent out as a payment reminder,
warning of service disconnection for non-payment. Door hangers will no longer be used.
|Day 47||Service is disconnected for non-payment. Disconnection/Connection fee of $45 added to account.|
