ROW Inspections
All Right-of-way construction and placement of infrastructure within the city limits of Brighton is inspected by City Inspectors. Construction Inspectors confirm that all designs are according to submitted approved plans which comply with City Standards and Specifications, State Requirements, and City Development Agreements. All placement of Sewer, Storm Sewer, Water Lines, Street Paving, Curb, Gutter and Sidewalk placement must be pre-approved, permitted and inspected for compliance by Construction Inspectors.
There are three State Highways which cross through the City Limits of Brighton: SH 85, SH 7 (Bridge Street) and SH 2 (4th Avenue.) Any work on these State Highways also require City permitting and are required to adhere to City Standards and Specifications.
The City of Brighton also requires permits for any construction taking place due to State Highway Access Permits issued for areas located within the City Limits of Brighton.
