  2. Bike to Work Day

    June is bike month in Colorado. The highlight of bike month in Colorado, Bike to Work Day, will be Wednesday, June 28. To participate in Bike to Work Day, the City of Brighton’s Bike Brighton Sub-Committee will host a water aid station from 3:30 – 6 p.m., Wednesday June 28, at the corner of South 4th Avenue & Jessup Street (Southwest corner of City Hall, 500 South 4th Avenue). Brighton’s Watermill Express will sponsor the water at the station. Treads Bicycle Outfitters will host a breakfast station from 6:30 a.m. – 9 a.m., and a bike home station from 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. at its store location, 269 E Bridge Ave. For more information about Brighton’s Bike to Work Day, contact Mark Heidt at 303-655-2170.   4. Flix & Kicks: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (PG-13)

    June 29, 2017, 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Dewey Strong Park

    The City of Brighton will host its second year of “Flix and Kicks” concerts and movies in the park series this summer. New this year, the series will alternate park locations for its movies to bring the fun to all of Brighton’s neighborhoods. All concerts will entertain crowds from 7-9 p.m. with exception of July 20 which will be held from 6-8 p.m. All movies will begin at dusk. Admission is free and seating is first come, first serve. Attendees are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, picnics, bug spray and other amenities. This series is sponsored by the Brighton Cultural Arts Commission (BCAC), the Scientific Cultural Facilities District (SCFD), and the City of Brighton.
