UPDATED: Missing man found safe


Update: Mr. Mitrov was located by Denver PD and is safe.

Brighton police are asking that anyone with information about the current whereabouts of a missing Brighton man please contact them.
47-year-old John Mitrov reportedly left his home in the 3400 block of Watada Dr. sometime between 5:25 and 5:35 on the morning of Friday, November 10th, and has not been seen by his family since that time.
According to family members, John left the residence without any identification and without necessary medication. John has the mental capacity of a 6 year old and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue Patriots jacket. John is 5’11”, 120 lbs, is bald, and has brown eyes. John takes medication 3 times a day and will become combative without medication.

Anyone with information is asked to call their local law enforcement agency or Detective Rudy Underwood at (303) 655-7336, or the Brighton police department at (303) 655-2300.
