Annual Turkey Trot racing to Brighton

The City of Brighton’s Parks and Recreation Department will host the 33rd Annual Turkey Trot at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Brighton Recreation Center, 555 N. 11th Ave.

The 5K run/walk is a Bolder Boulder qualifying race and features various age divisions with awards given to first, second and third place male and female finishers in each age division.

Registration is available in-person at the Brighton Recreation Center through noon Thursday, Nov. 16, or online by noon Friday, Nov. 17, at The early bird registration fee is $30/adults (18-59) or $20/youth (17 and under) and seniors (60+). The race day fee is $33/adults (18-59) or $25/youth (17 and under) and seniors (60+).

The fee includes a great long sleeve Tec T-shirt, post-race breakfast, prizes, drawings and much more.

Packet pickup will be Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 14, and 15, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Brighton Recreation Center. Please, no dogs allowed.
