US 85: I-76 to 168th Avenue Resurfacing

Starting the first week of July 17, 2017, crews started work on US 85 from I-76 to 168th Avenue that will improve safety and road serviceability. Work is scheduled for completion by winter 2017.

 Project work includes:
 •roadway resurfacing;
 •bridge repair;
 •guardrail and cable barrier; and
 •updating traffic signals, signing and striping.

 Schedule

Construction will take place from 8 p.m. to  6 a.m. each night/morning, Monday through Friday. Expect day and weekend work as well.


 Traffic Impacts
 •Expect various lane closures on both northbound and southbound US 85.
 •Traffic will be maintained during peak travel times throughout construction.
